ARRIVING BY CAR

 

From the south:

From Perth travel along the A9 road and turn off at the Dalwhinnie.  From Dalwhinnie, 8 miles on the A889 and follow the signs for Laggan.  At junction turn right, hotel is 1 mile on the right hand side.


From the north:

From Inverness travel along the A9 road and turn off at the Kingussie junction.  Travel through Kingussie to Newtonmore, when you take the A86 cut off.  From here 5 miles and the hotel is on the left hand side.


From the west:

Traveling along the A82 turn off at Spean Bridge and travel along the A86 for approximately 27 miles until you reach Laggan.


 

Approximate journey time by car:    Glasgow Airport 2½ hours

                                                     Edinburgh Airport 2½ hours

                                                     Inverness Airport 1 hour

OUR LOCATION


The Laggan Country Hotel is located in the Cairngorms National Park in the very heart of Scotland.  All parts of Scotland are easily accessible from Laggan, with Inverness to the north, Glasgow and Edinburgh to the south.  The hotel is surrounded by stunning highland scenery and makes an ideal base to stop at as you explore Scotland.


GETTING TO LAGGAN


BY COACH:

Regular coaches run from  Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and stop at Newtonmore.


BY TRAIN:

Trains from the North & South stop at Kingussie and Newtonmore.


TAXI:

A taxi service is available from both Kingussie & Newtonmore.


AIR:

Flights into Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow and Aberdeen all make Laggan very accessible.
